The article argues that Martini's actions represented a pioneering effort of cultural mediation and intellectual courage, foreshadowing contemporary challenges of the inculturation of universal values into diverse traditions. By situating Martini's mission within a European landscape marked by religious tensions, debates on probabilism, and scientific advances, the research underscores his essential contribution to the formation of a global civic culture and to the historical encounter between the civilizations of East and West. |
