Among the findings, the emphasis stands out on an emotional realism that bears witness to lived "dramas," the valorization of the print press as an instrument for defending interests and for the dissemination of information and culture, and the formulation of a conception of the "modern woman" in which feminine difference is not denied but affirmed in parity with competence and autonomy. The article concludes that the author occupies a significant place in Macao's cultural history, articulating literature, the press, and emancipatory claims. |
