No ano de 1545 vos escrevi de Malaca por duas vias e por elas pedi
por amor de Deus aos P. João da Beira e aos P. Anto Criminal que fossem
vistos a qüal os escrevia ao cabo de Comorin adotinar e favorecer
receber aglós pobres cristãos e atender companhia ao P. Fr. de Mansilha
ao qual deixei com os cristãos do cabo de Comorin com o P. Juã Delisano
e três outros padres naturais da terra e para maior medida vós os mandava
em virtude de santa obediência
e o mesmo parti de Malaca para Adaluco no 1º de janeiro e cheguei a esta
ilha de bom aspecto a 14 do mês de fevereiro e logo visitei

Letter from Father Francisco to Fathers Paio and João da Beira, and other priests who were stationed in Goa, dated May 1546.
May the grace and love of God, our Lord, always be with me as my help and favour, amen.
In the year 1545, I wrote to you from Malacca via two routes and requested, out of love for God, that Fathers João da Beira and António Criminal visit those whom I was writing to at Cape Comorin, to encourage and assist in receiving poor Christian souls and to support the company of Father Fr. de Mansilha, whom I had left with the Christians of Cape Comorin along with Father Juan Delisano and three other local priests. In accordance with holy obedience, I also sent them further instructions.
I departed Malacca for Adaluco on 1 January and arrived at this island on the 14th of February in good health. Immediately upon arrival, I visited the Christian settlements and baptised many children who were yet to be baptised. After completing these baptisms, I then proceeded to the island where the fleet of Fernandesoso, which had come from New Spain to Adaluco, consisting of eight ships, arrived. There were so many tasks that I had to perform; not only did I continue with continuous confession, but I also preached to the congregation every Sunday, made peace, visited the sick, confessed them, and helped them to die well. Consequently, I lacked time to attend to everything, yet I never lacked for children to baptise or places to visit.

Letter from Father Francisco to Fathers Paio and João da Beira, and other priests who were stationed in Goa, dated May 1546.
May the grace and love of God, our Lord, always be with me as my help and favour, amen.
In the year 1545, I wrote to you from Malacca via two routes and requested, out of love for God, that Fathers João da Beira and António Criminal visit those whom I was writing to at Cape Comorin, to encourage and assist in receiving poor Christian souls and to support the company of Father Fr. de Mansilha, whom I had left with the Christians of Cape Comorin along with Father Juan Delisano and three other local priests. In accordance with holy obedience, I also sent them further instructions.
I departed Malacca for Adaluco on 1 January and arrived at this island on the 14th of February in good health. Immediately upon arrival, I visited the Christian settlements and baptised many children who were yet to be baptised. After completing these baptisms, I then proceeded to the island where the fleet of Fernandesoso, which had come from New Spain to Adaluco, consisting of eight ships, arrived. There were so many tasks that I had to perform; not only did I continue with continuous confession, but I also preached to the congregation every Sunday, made peace, visited the sick, confessed them, and helped them to die well. Consequently, I lacked time to attend to everything, yet I never lacked for children to baptise or places to visit.
