pentiffical, nem elle tem como possa
mandar fazer.

By Decree of 21st of this present month of March,
it is ordered that the Lord Governor and his Counsellor proceed with the following petition from Dom Joad de Cazal, Bishop of Macao, who states that he is about to embark for his diocese. Since there are necessary items for his pontifical attire on board, and he cannot send them.

It is requested that the Lord Governor provide what is necessary for his pontifical needs.
[Interlinear note, right column]
The Council suggests that the Lord Governor should forward this request from the Bishop of Macao to the Council of Finance, as expenses for the Archbishop of Goa, and all Bishops of Cabo de Boa Esperança to Macao, along with the costs of their bulls, are managed by that department.
