The conclusions propose that Maldonado did not stand out as a charismatic builder nor as a large-scale evangelizer, but as an administrative and communicational agent capable of negotiating limits and compromises, revealing how hierarchies and rivalries between orders and institutions shaped, in practice, missionary life in the kingdom of Ayutthaya. |
