São aqui muitas as confissões e de quando em quando prego ao povo fazendo muitos casamentos
de órfãs e viúvas há grande ferida no povo
por graça do Senhor nestes dois anos que aqui estão
Estou fazendo bem quatrocentas almas baptizadas
Além de muitos papados que dei e fiz derribar
Derribei que os gentios desta terra tinham em grande veneração porque uma de todo
Cambaya adorar este pagode e provei ao Senhor Deífuseis
E sobre Ele fiz por uma grande tumba de pedra
Este papado era tão venerado que era coisa
estranha por ter nele pintado seus Deuses que e chamam em sua língua Jéles
E outro Brahma e outro Vishnu e assim querem empanar alguns ignorantes dizendo
estranha
que também tem trindade. Tenho ordenado um Colégio e Tannana 4 leguas de

Grace and love of Our Lord
Be always in our soul. Amen.
Here there are many confessions, and I preach to the people from time to time, making many marriages of orphans and widows. There is great unrest among the people due to this.
By the grace of the Lord over these two years that we have been here,
I have baptized four hundred souls.
In addition, I have given and caused to be demolished many idols.
I demolished the idol that the heathens of this land held in great veneration, one of which was worshipped in Cambaya and dedicated to this pagoda. I proved to the Lord that it was Deífuseis and over it I built a large stone tomb.
This idol was so revered that it was strange to have painted on it their gods, whom they call in their language Jéles, Brahma, and Vishnu. Some ignorant people try to mislead others by saying that it also has a trinity.
I have established a College and Tannana 4 leagues from Baçaim for boys.
